Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs: BE 6e and XEV 9e Set for Global Debut on November 26, 2024

Mahindra is set to debut two highly anticipated electric SUVs, the BE 6e and XEV 9e, on November 26, 2024, at an event in Chennai, India. Both vehicles are part of Mahindra's 'Born Electric' series, which signifies that they are built specifically as electric models, rather than being converted from existing internal combustion engine (ICE) designs.

The BE 6e is a more compact SUV, approximately 4.3 meters in length, featuring a futuristic design with a split dashboard, twin displays, and potentially a 60 kWh battery. It is expected to come in both 2WD and 4WD configurations, depending on whether a single or dual motor setup is chosen. The XEV 9e is the larger of the two, with a coupe-style design that extends to around 5 meters in length. It will include a triple dashboard layout and an up-to-80 kWh battery, with both motor options as well. This SUV is likely to compete with larger electric models such as the Tata Harrier EV?

Both models will sit above the XUV400 in Mahindra's electric vehicle lineup and are expected to make waves not only in India but also in international markets
