BMW X1 LWB 2026: New Long-Wheelbase Luxury SUV Launched in India
The BMW X1 Long Wheelbase (LWB) has been launched in India on 21 August 2026, bringing a longer body, more rear-seat space and additional premium features to BMW's compact luxury SUV range. The model is locally produced at BMW Group's Chennai plant.

Design and Exterior
The X1 LWB retains BMW's modern SUV design while receiving extended proportions. It measures 4,616 mm in length, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase. Compared with the standard X1, the wheelbase is 108 mm longer, creating additional space for rear passengers.
